SANDWELL VALLEY PARK

Sandwell Valley Park is the jewel in Sandwell’s crown of unspoilt countryside, located in the heart of the West Midlands well-known for hosting family activities. ACTIVITIES The park has several activities on-site including adventure playgrounds, high rope aerial assault course, a farm, lake and walking paths. ACCESS Located just 1 mile from West Bromwich town centre and the M6 motorway, the park offers a great location for out-of-town visitors and is a short drive into the city of Birmingham. PARKING The park offers ample on-site parking.

Sandwell is an important centre of engineering and manufacturing within the UK with history of high-volume production dating back to the industrial revolution. With more than 327,378 people, Sandwell is an extremely diverse borough of the West Midlands. 1980s

Expansion of Family Activities

Introduction of adventure playgrounds, picnic areas, and community events. The park became a key location for local outdoor recreation.

1990s

Forge Mill Farm & Educational Focus

Forge Mill Farm was developed as a working farm attraction. The park expanded its environmental education programmes, school visits, and agricultural demonstrations.

2000s

Conservation & Wildlife Development

Investment in wildlife conservation, including bird habitats, woodland restoration, and lake management. The valley became a recognised site for biodiversity within the West Midlands.

2010s

Modern Facilities & Adventure Activities

Introduction of the high‑rope aerial assault course, upgraded playgrounds, and improved walking/cycling routes. Visitor centres and signage were modernised to improve accessibility.

2026

Community Hub & Regional Attraction

Tamara leads the vision and direction of One Fest, bringing years of experience producing community events across the West Midlands.

Daniel Maynard

Event Manager

Daniel oversees the day-to-day running of the festival, coordinating artists, vendors, and volunteers to deliver a seamless experience.

Mac Clarke

Operations Manager

Mac manages the logistics and infrastructure that make One Fest possible — from site setup to safety and everything in between.
